The sea blue linen undercloths were covered with Classic’s celebrated ‘caps’ in white burlap. The burlap took a bit of the formality out and added a touch of something different.

The white pashminas, a Classic retail item, were draped over each woman’s chair in case the night air was chilly. The piping on the chairs kept it all crisp and simple.

The napkins were starched white cotton, rolled with a homemade band with the initials of the host and hostess surrounded by a color matching the undercloth and seat cushions.

Our votives, with tall smokey cylinders do not go out with a gentle breeze. 

A perfect night. We heard no one wanted to leave the table.
