What happens at Rob’s Club …

Classic San Francisco’s Gwen Ortiz collaborated with an Alamo, CA hostess throwing a 50th birthday bash for her husband and 99 of their closest friends. The client wanted to create the atmosphere of a “private club” … Rob’s Club. 

Guests entered the “club” through a 10′ x 40′ clear entrance canopy installed in a breezeway, featuring Topaz Pewter drapery and red carpet. This led into a 50′ x 80′ tent with 10′ x 80′ and 15′ x 25′ connectors. All tents were clear tops with clear walls, and raised to include two existing 12′ trees.

The ceiling was partially swagged with Clay colored fabric, and wall poles were covered in the same shade. Classic created two Topaz Pewter drum chandeliers to flank the white dance floor. 

The Classic lighting team created the perfect ambiance by back lighting the ceiling drape and placing fun gobos on the dance floor.

The furniture was Designer*8 in white leather and black suede. Caterer Barbara Llewellyn brought in kiosk tables and linen and florals; other décor elements were brought in by the property’s staff.

Classic San Francisco provided the tenting along with rich burgundy and white custom ceiling draping, valances and wall drapes.

Also a focal point, a custom 10′ x 22′ chuppah out of truss and covered in fabric.

Wildflower Linens provided the lovely fabric as well as the linens and chair covers.

Intimate and elegant, Arturo Montes designed and catered this exquisite dinner party for 40 in a classic private residence in Rancho Mirage.

Classic provided the second table for 20 in the living room along with Chameleon Chairs dressed with white stretch knit with a jewel band.

Crimson and cream . . . to coordinate with his beautiful florals, Arturo paired Classic’s Ruby Braid glassware with Carrington Bone Silver dinner plates.

A Classic family Thanksgiving gathering for ten that would have done Norman Rockwell proud.

Seventy friends gathered for a 70th birthday bash to celebrate a lovely lady in Rancho Mirage.

Arturo Montes designed and catered this beautiful, colorful party. Classic Palm Springs provided clear bar stools and six-foot curved lighted bars from Classic’s Designer8* Collection, cocktail tables and covers along with glassware and kitchen equipment.

Lighting the night in their own special way were the Kindle heaters and the new patio heaters being test marketed by Classic in the Palm Springs and Phoenix areas this fall and winter.

The golden TorchFire Patio Heaters provide warmth and add a beautiful look. Guests are abuzz about the heaters and they’re renting over and over again in this test market.

This breathtaking wedding under the stars for 230 guests was at a private residence in Fresno, CA.

Classic Modesto created a spectacular look with a 50′ x 70′ clear top tent, clear walls and lighting for this perfect evening reception.

Classic also provided Fruitwood Chiavari chairs with ivory cushions; both 48″ square and 60″ round tables with Lafayette Hampton linens to create the dinner space, a stage for the head table, and an oak parquet dance floor. Star Events provided chandeliers over the head table.

You have to love Halloween to put on a large party in your home that gets better each year!

How can you miss with skulls on poles rotating at the entrance and a dancing troupe from Texas greeting guests?

This year Shari Kelley Events of Palm Springs had Classic install a 50′ x 90′ frame for the main party and a 20′ x 90′ frame for the food station area.

After putting electrical cords in place for the lighting by Shari’s crews, Classic covered all of the pipe with black velon. Classic also provided the white and black dance floor, tables, chairs and heaters with velvet black covers.

Carousel Catering provided scrumptious catering as always and Classic provided glassware, china and cooking equipment.

Spooktacular!

Classic created the atmosphere of an elegant garden party with a 20 meter x 40 meter clear top tent with rustic wood paneling installed around the frame. Classic also built the stage and hardwood dance floor, and provided topiaries and hedges to enhance the garden environment.

Classic provided understated walnut wood folding chairs for the ceremony, Gold Fanfare Chameleon chairs and all tabletop items for dining.

Suzy Somers of Always RSVP was the planner with floral design by Tapestry Flowers.

“Dixie and I wanted to throw one party ‘for fun’ this summer. We wanted it to be a combined guest list . . . we wanted to include some new folks, and wanted it to be an intimate evening. We capped the list at twenty.

The setting was the barn on our property in CT – the perfect spot for a party.

Cocktails were outside on our deck and with a few cocktail tables on the lawn. We had a bar, bartender and a piano player on the lawn which set the perfect “tone” for the party.

I wanted to do one long table. We ordered all of the rentals from CLASSIC PARTY RENTALS and mixed some green glass in with regular glass for some “pop.” I did the flowers myself with stunning hydrangeas from the wholesale florist.

The food was from our favorite chef, Kevin Schmitz, who spoiled us with a fantastic four-course dinner and his own to-die-for chocolate BERKSHIRE BARK to accompany dessert.

And judging by the emails and notes we received, everyone had a blast. We did have a great time – a truly special evening.”
