Tappan Hill in Tarrytown New York was the site of this beautiful celebration. The theme of the Bar Mitzvah…“Vintage Baseball.”

Together with Event Designer Lindsay Landman, Classic New York created a warm, classic environment equally appropriate for children and adults. Lindsay used color, conceptual and textural elements to convey the vintage baseball feel.

For the kids’ area…a clubby/lounge feel with the new Nailhead sofas and chairs from Designer8* along with the Lucas wooden coffee tables.

Moving the party outdoors? Might take some convincing when it’s summer in Phoenix.

But the Sonoran Living July 7 television spot featured tips from Classic Tri-Rentals on how to have it made in the shade.

Classic keeps it cool with tenting, evaporative coolers and misting systems, floor coverings and splash-able furniture from designer8* furniture rental.

Heidi’s Events & Catering assisted with the spot featuring their ice cold sundae bar.

And when asked one last idea for a unique summer soiree? A quarter mile Slip & Slide for adults!

Inception LA Premiere

The stars were out in full force in Hollywood, when the cast of Inception, ” Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page, among others, hit the red carpet to promote the opening of their new film.

It was an amazing affair benefiting The Alliance for Climate Protection produced by Samantha Sackler of Events In Motion.

Green elements to the event were a bio-diesel generator and all trash sorted between waste, compostable, and recyclable. No plastic was used at the bar including water served from pitchers and no stirrers. All 100% recycled cocktail napkins were used and the florals were mostly obtained from California growers. The menu was organic and used sustainable seafood.

Fabulous tenting…another stellar performance by Classic Party Rentals Culver City.

Designer8* Furniture Rental provided items from the Jax Collection, Costello Collection, a steel round bar and communal tables, steel with black lacquer tops. Chairs provided by Chameleon Chairs.

The florals were all purple with silver containers that reflected a very architectural element and sleek vibe for the event.

Entrance music by a trio performing Edith Piaf music and the main performance was a 26-piece orchestra led by soundtrack composer Hans Zimmer featuring guitarist Johnny Marr.

Survivor Beach Party

Not your everyday house party…a Survivor-themed beach party for 400 benefiting the Nevada Cancer Institute.

The gathering is an annual event at Joan and Jim Hammer’s residence at the Red Rock Country Club Estate.

Who better to set the mood than the Beach Boys and the Bangles performing live.

Tory Cooper was the event planner and Designer8* Event Furniture Rental collaborated with Christy Carr from Classic Party Rentals to make this one very special gathering.

Catering by the Bellagio.

Ultimate Chef America

Brookdale Senior Living Centers sponsored this Ultimate Chef America event to generate excitement in culinary circles regarding food preparation, menu planning, and the dining experience at Brookdale’s Centers.

Ducky-Bob’s designer8*Landon White Leather Chairs took center stage to set the tone for a relaxed presentation by culinary experts including Food Network featured Bronwen Weber of Frosted Art Bakery and celebrities including Leeza Gibbons.

Ducky-Bob’s designer8* furniture also provided the perfect informal setting for guest speakers addressing their peers and clients.

The media tent compound was erected in a courtyard. Tent accessories included covered, level flooring, lighting, gutters, staging, pipe and drape. Rentals included tables and chairs, grills, convection ovens, serving equipment and more.

The night before the day-long event, three inches of rain fell testing the gutter system. All held up. That’s why in Texas there is no such thing as a springtime “rain plan.” It’s going to rain, and rain hard!

Classic Party Rentals Orange County hosted a luncheon for area wedding and event planners to say thank you and to introduce exciting new items.

The warehouse was transformed into an elegant event area with white dance floor, white draping and gorgeous chandeliers.

Kindle heaters, Classic’s white organza drapery, Chameleon chairs and designer8* chandeliers were showcased.

Guests left with parting gifts, Classic writing pads and pink pens.

Catering by 24 Carrots, florals provided by Jen K Floral Designs and linens by Wildflower Linens.

Eli Rattner had an amazing evening! Celebrating his ’step into manhood,’ the Rattner’s chose Marc Wilson of Marc Wilson Design and Judy Paulen of Judy Paulen Designs to create and coordinate the perfect event for their son.

The venue, The Loading Dock in Stamford, Connecticut, is a warehouse remodeled for special celebrations…fast becoming a popular destination for events.

Custom tables with black and white leather crocodile with satin ribbon accents set the tone.

Black and white chameleon ultra suede chairs with designer8* white leather loveseats were the show stoppers as guests entered the room.
