A positively majestic wedding and reception at Brooklyn’s famous landmark, Skylight One Hanson.

Long tables with gold Chiavari chairs provided seating for the 170 guests. The subtle linen color was complimented by the incredible tablescape of candelabras and lower floral arrangements.

Classic New York provided tables, chairs, china, glassware, flatware, linens and all the catering needs.

Hilary Clark Events was the planner for this stunning event, Nicolette Camille provided the florals and Olivier Cheng the catering.

Coachella Valley and Stagecoach Music Festivals

The Empire Polo Club in Indio, CA was one very busy venue in April hosting both the Coachella Valley Music and Art Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival. The events combined entertained music fans to the tune of over 325,000 guests.

Both events are produced by Goldenvoice which is now a division of AEG Live. Coachella Festival is in its eleventh year of production and Stagecoach debuted in 2007.

Classic Tents spent two weeks on the set-up with 29 men. Looking at the site, you can see the broad range of tenting available from Classic including:

meter structures from Classic’s Prime Event Group
maxibeam structures
minibeam structures
regular canopies
festival canopies
round canopies
pole tents

Also provided by Classic were thousands of chairs, hundreds of tables and covers, picket fencing, wood subfloor and astroturf and a truckload of cooking equipment helped vendors feed the masses.

After the first three days, many tents were moved or resized. The local store in Coachella Valley did their part, setting up several tents added at the last minute.

The Informant Premier Party

It was all about creating a sophisticated and inviting lounge setting for Warner Bros. The Informant premiere after-party at Gotham Hall.

Keeping with the look of the venue was important when designing the space and each individual vignette. The lounge vignettes were created with a warm and masculine color palette of brown and marigold tones. The seating areas consisted of chocolate brown suede sofas complemented by two loveseats or chairs dressed with throw pillows in golds, browns and reds.

Wooden coffee tables were the accent piece in each vignette. Curved chocolate brown suede tufted booths with high backs provided alternative seating areas. Each curved booth area gave an intimate feeling in the large space and added a different shape.

Custom oversized lampshades were produced specially to provide an anchor piece for each booth and the lamps were lit with a low light and added to the ambient lighting. Our 12’ x 12’ wooden Lorenzo bar provided the focal point for the entire event.

Fall Party 620 Loft & Garden

Classic Party Rentals New York collaborated with Marcey Brownstein Catering for this amazing industry dinner for top event planners in New York. The Rockefeller Center 620 Loft & Garden was the exceptional venue with Marcey Brownstein serving a five-course tasting menu with wine pairings for each course provided by Gnarly Vines in Brooklyn.

And worth a mention…the special icebreaker to get the crowd mixing and mingling. Guests were asked to pick a number as they entered. There were beautifully displayed numbers hanging on the back of the seats. This broke up the groups that came together, and relieved the initial stress of finding a seat. And to mix it up even more, after the third course guests found another number under their charger plate, and switched seats to the newly assigned number; a great way to keep conversation flowing and people connecting with as many new contacts as possible.
