Palm Springs Back in the Saddle

Palm Spring’s first rodeo in 17 years honored cowboy Mayor Frank Bogert.

Over 4,ooo attendees reveled in the excitement of the Wild West Fest Mayor Frank Bogert Memorial PRCA Rodeo at a 10-acre “spread” next to the Palm Spring Convention Center.

Classic provided tenting for the portable rodeo.  A two-level stage and a 40′ x 80′ canopy on extra tall legs erected for the VIP spectators area, with tables, chairs and table covers also provided.

Many of the 70 vendors were housed in two 40′ x 60′ canopies. Smaller canopies housed cooking stations, ticket sales and a 20′ x 20′ canopy was placed on a busy intersection to draw attention to the rodeo.

Over 140 animals were used in the production and the load-in of the non-rental items took 7 semi-truck loads.

The successful event was produced by Spur of the Moment, LLC of Costa Mesa, CA.
