Tokidoki Opening in LA

The Tokidoki (means ‘sometimes’ in Japanese) store was inspired by a couple of entrepreneurs who saw an Italian artist’s drawings on the Internet, convinced him to let them brand his work, and the rest is history. The LA store is their flagship with a warehouse nearby and Classic Party Rentals was there for the Melrose Avenue kickoff.

The premier party hosted 350 guests and the following Saturday had fans lining up outside in the rain for the grand opening. Artist Simone Legno, on site to sign purchases, was a crowd pleaser. The store was packed at all times, serving about 650 shoppers. ‘Sometimes’ everything just falls into place.
