The stars were out in The Big Apple for the premiere of “Contagion”, a thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Matt Damon and Marion Cotillard.   Held at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Events in Motion created a dramatic, rich environment with fabulous views overlooking Central Park South. 

Classic Party Rentals Hamptons provided furniture from Designer8* which included the Nailhead Line, Lux Line and Diamond Tufted Line in chocolate suede, the Eco Line in Chestnut, modern communal tables, Zanzibar, Lucas and Isabella coffee tables, Lorenzo bar in brown wood.

Shari created a “county fair midway” to entertain the players.  Game stations were created under 10 X 10 canopy frames covered in velon by Classic.  Last year the sushi bar was so popular with the attendees it was increased in size. CYM Lighting Services provided lighting. Catering was furnished by Carousel Catering of Palm Springs.

Classic provided the white dance floor, stools and tables and the torchfire heaters for this four-sided station.  Cooking equipment ,china, glassware and flatware also provided by Classic.

The annual Derby Day fundraiser was a success once again as racing fans gathered for food, fun and an important cause.  Sean O”Keefe  put on an elegant event to benefit the Child Development Association which provides education programs to pre-school children of low-income families in the Atlanta area.

Tables, linen, flatwere, glassware and the event stage were all provided by Classic Party Rentals Atlanta.

The Gwinnett Center

More than 450 guests were given the 5-star treatment at the 5^thAnnual Celebration of Support.  The UGA Office of Special Events and the University’s Conference Center and Hotel designed the event which was held at The Gwinnett Center.

Classic Atlanta arranged white valencia chairs throughout the venue and incorporated the University’s colors at each table setting using red metallic and black chargers.  Floral arrangements were provided by European Floral Design and the event was catered by Proof of the Pudding.

It was a sunny day in Georgia as University VIP’s gathered to celebrate the newly-renovated Reed Plaza concession area.  UGA’s President Dr. Michael Adams, Athletic Director Greg McGarity and Football Head Coach Mark Richt all took turns at the podium and no Sanford Stadium event would be complete without mascots Hairy Dawg and Uga!

The building alone is amazing: the look of the space is clean and simple, and we added just a touch of pattern with our cloths, some yellow flowers, and plenty of space in between. It was perfect.

One nice touch is the environmentally friendly way the glasses are marked with your name. This ensures that you can find your glass after you set it down, and you can use the same glass all evening. We were happy to bring them in, and many people asked about them during the festivities. Did you know that most parties allot 2.5 glasses per person? These marker glasses will bring that number down for sure.

They were Walking in a Winter Wonderland at the annual member’s soiree at Meadowood Napa Valley.

A two-day installation created the magic with a 40’ x 90’ main tent and 30’x40’ entrance/greeting tent, both with clear walls for all four sides.

Classic provided all flooring, tenting, tent swagging, and furnishings. Chairs provided by Chameleon, elegant Silver “X” backs with white optical suede cushions. Chandeliers by Twilight Design.

And to capture the ambiance of a perfect wintry look: ice blue lighting gels behind the liner in the ceiling and wall pole uplighting, Ice Blue satin ceiling and wall pole fabric swag, white carpet, white dance floor, and Dazzle Pale Blue linens.

The lounge area in the Vintner’s Room was made ever so cozy with Designer8* Princeton leather furniture by the fireplace.

What happens at Rob’s Club …

Classic San Francisco’s Gwen Ortiz collaborated with an Alamo, CA hostess throwing a 50th birthday bash for her husband and 99 of their closest friends. The client wanted to create the atmosphere of a “private club” … Rob’s Club. 

Guests entered the “club” through a 10′ x 40′ clear entrance canopy installed in a breezeway, featuring Topaz Pewter drapery and red carpet. This led into a 50′ x 80′ tent with 10′ x 80′ and 15′ x 25′ connectors. All tents were clear tops with clear walls, and raised to include two existing 12′ trees.

The ceiling was partially swagged with Clay colored fabric, and wall poles were covered in the same shade. Classic created two Topaz Pewter drum chandeliers to flank the white dance floor. 

The Classic lighting team created the perfect ambiance by back lighting the ceiling drape and placing fun gobos on the dance floor.

The furniture was Designer*8 in white leather and black suede. Caterer Barbara Llewellyn brought in kiosk tables and linen and florals; other décor elements were brought in by the property’s staff.

The Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta, CA  hosts a golf tournament dubbed the Hootenanny with celebration dinner following.

With a moniker like “Hootenanny” you’ve gotta shake things up and add a unique twist or two.

For the dinner … picture an open kitchen in an upscale restaurant. Classic Palm Springs provided a 50′ x 100′ structure and an adjacent on-site kitchen, both with clear tops and sidewalls allowing guests a clear view of the Iron Chef-like action.

Classic provided convection ovens, stoves, ovens, griddles, deep fat fryers and heat lamps to make sure every meal came out piping hot. China, glassware and lighting also provided by Classic.
