Child Development Association 2010 – Derby Day

The annual Derby Day fundraiser was a success once again as racing fans gathered for food, fun and an important cause.  Sean O”Keefe  put on an elegant event to benefit the Child Development Association which provides education programs to pre-school children of low-income families in the Atlanta area.

Claws for Paws

Jensen’s Finest Foods, a Palm Spring’s local grocery chain, hosted the Lobster Fest fundraiser benefitting the Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter.

Classic Palm Springs set up two 40′ x 80′ canopies in the grocery store parking lot with tables, chairs and vinyl table covers that could be easily cleaned during the three-day event.

Operation Crepsac Circle helps feed and support the basic needs of the kids of Crepsac Circle, supplying food, clothes and shoes, temporary housing and tents, and funding education.

Fireworks and stars lit up the night at the 17th Annual AIDS Assistance Evening Under the Stars.

Richard Byford of Byway Entertainment, Inc. produced this as a green event at O’Donnell Golf Club in Palm Springs. 

How did they keep it green?

Leftover food was sent for composting, and all trash was recycled rather than going into landfills.

March for Babies

The March of Dimes March for Babies…so “one day all babies will be born healthy.”

The money raised funds research and supports programs that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. Since 1970 they’ve raised $1.8 billion to benefit all babies.

A great cause for our little ones. Classic Party Rentals Atlanta provided tents, tables, chairs, stage, and stanchions.

Washington Ballet at the Swedish Ambassador’s Residence

Capital Party Rentals had the pleasure of working with the Washington Ballet this year for their annual 500 person black-tie fundraising event in Washington DC.

The theme this year… Purple Rain. The Company Dancers customized routines to When Doves Cry and Beautiful Ones.
