While every picture tells a story in this case so do the numbers:

• A total of 241,149 square feet of tenting structures that varied in sizes, styles, configurations and applications accomodated the overall enormity of the Derby festivities.

• 240’ of pink valance; 83,000 square feet of plywood flooring; 95,000 square feet of turf; 4,500 square feet of red carpet, a 40’ circle of pink carpet with a 20’ walkway; and lounge furniture helped the M Group create impactful entertaining environments.

• 1,783 tables in various sizes; 8,035 chairs of different styles; 220 custom table coverings contributed to the fundraising efforts of the Kentucky Derby Museum Gala.

• Food service items consisting of 280 caves, 275 bakers racks and 103 chafers helped Levy Catering cater to the tastes of over 100,000 guests.

Classic’s Capital Party Rentals has had the pleasure of providing tenting and staging rentals for the White House Easter Egg Roll for more than 10 years…along with Michael Miner and C3 Productions who also handled this event on a national level.

This is an annual family event on the White House lawn along with storytelling and a visit with the Easter Bunny. The tradition dates back to 1878 when President Rutherford B. Hayes officially opened the White House grounds to local children for egg rolling on Easter Monday and successive presidents have carried on the tradition. 

And the distinguished gentleman in the yellow shirt with the mascot? That’s Mr. Don Berger with Capital Party Rentals who has had the pleasure of conducting this event…with many long hours of hard work, each year.

Classic Tents provided the chairs and tenting as sailors assigned to the fast-attack submarine manned the rails one last time during the decommissioning ceremony at the Port of Los Angeles.

Kudos to Classic El Segundo.

The install took two weeks with Classic Tents providing 48 structures at PGA West ranging in size from 100 sq. ft. to 8,000 sq. ft. Classic also provided another 18 structures for the other courses, along with canopies, tables, chairs and more. 

Classic Palm Desert was also involved through restaurant customer, Wally’s Desert Turtle Restaurant, who catered the Bob Hope Club in a structure elevated above the 18th green. Classic provided china, serving and buffet items.

Classic’s Prime Event Group has been the exclusive tent, HVAC, power and electrical supplier for over 6 years for Pilot Pen Tennis, a US Open Series event.

The venue is Connecticut Tennis Center at Yale and it’s Classic/Prime Tenting at its finest. We supply over 80+ tents, 28,000 sq feet and 27,000 sq feet of flooring, 10,000 sq feet of HVAC, lighting and power distribution to over 150 locations including trailers, skyboxes, kitchens and television production tents.

Classic Party Rentals Lollapalooza tenting under the Chicago skyline

Chicago hosted Lollapalooza, an annual four-day musical festival August 7–9 featuring alternative rock, hip hop and punk rock bands offering a series of concerts in Grant Park.

Kicking off this year’s Lollapalooza weekend was Galapalooza, where Classic created a total backstage experience on the festival grounds for guests to enjoy an evening of cocktails, dining and music in an upscale outdoor lounge setting while supporting the Parkways Foundation’s efforts to enrich Chicago’s parks.

Classic Chicago provided a large amount of tents, tables, chairs, lounge furniture, linen, flooring, lighting and food service equipment to accommodate the festival traffic which encompassed over one mile of eager crowds. While most of the tenting we installed was for alcohol and food sales, we provided a 50′ x 50′ tent for a PlayStation area and eleven 20′ x 20′ cabanas which served as upscale areas for VIP hospitality sponsors. We also provided tents for the entrance, souvenir sales, display areas, first aid and autograph sessions.

The event was a success in spite of inclement weather conditions. A sold-out crowd of 225,000 music fans attended the performances of approximately 130 bands. The die-hard concertgoers came…….rain or shine!

Just before the US Open tennis matches at Flushing Meadows, Classic was asked to turn Bryant Park into regulation-size tennis courts for exhibition matches. Jack Murphy Productions managed the project design and it all had to be set up overnight in the park.

When you have the Williams sisters walking on a court you built above the ground in the middle of New York City, you don’t fool around.

The best of the best of Classic put together the tents, the platforms, the rentals and the love of the game.

LA Laker's Celebrate

We provided everything for the VIP reception, the “purple” carpet arrival area, and tenting for the family and friends on the floor of the Coliseum. And, although Classic was confident the Laker’s would win, we couldn’t start putting it all together until the tournament was over.

The Culver City folks believe this will be a repeat job moving forward. Some of our other locations are not so sure.
