Fireworks and stars lit up the night at the 17th Annual AIDS Assistance Evening Under the Stars.

Richard Byford of Byway Entertainment, Inc. produced this as a green event at O’Donnell Golf Club in Palm Springs. 

How did they keep it green?

Leftover food was sent for composting, and all trash was recycled rather than going into landfills.

Water was brought to the site in a bulk container “water buffalo,” saving the use of 4,000 plastic water bottles and generators using biodiesel fuel provided the power.

Classic provided canopies for the silent auction, tables, chairs and the tabletop equipment for the 1,000 guests.
