The Muses 100 was established years ago by a group of dedicated women to raise funds for Palm Desert’s McCallum Theatre. Five years ago with the establishment of the McCallum Theatre Institute, the educational division of the theatre, the Muses made it their main fundraising cause. The Institute serves children in the Coachella Valley and treats 37,200 kids each year to a unique theatre experience.

Shari Kelley of Shari Kelley Events produced the colorful, balloon-filled setting on stage for 200 guests. After cocktails in the lobby, guests were ushered into the theatre for entertainment by students participating in the Institute’s program, Open Call. With a fun, dramatic touch, the curtain opened to reveal Shari’s art on stage.

Catering was provided by Carousel Catering. Classic provided tables, White Chiavari chairs, china, flatware and glassware for the event.
