Burnham Institute Dedication

The Orlando Sentinel heralds Burnham Institute for Medical Research as “a beacon in the development of Orlando’s life-sciences hub” with an impact that rivals Disney. When Classic’s Prime Event Group was tapped to collaborate with the Institute’s event staff, Wray Associates, and Innovative Event Production (IEP) for the dedication celebration, it had to be special.

The main event was housed in a 100’x115’x13’ clear span structure with gable end displaying freshly manufactured clear fabric walls and triangle. A fabric kabuki by IEP at the clear gable end dropped seamlessly at the conclusion of the dedication for the big reveal of the new Burnham Institute building to nearly 800 guests.

Classic’s Panache Party Rentals in Lakeland provided black wood folding chairs, dining tables, linens in olive, royal, blue, and black, plates, glasses, and flatware to compliment the three days of delicious offerings by Arthur’s Catering.

An entrance tent with the Burnham logo welcomed guests and auxiliary tents housed catering and production operations. Interior stage décor and decorative lighting by IEP completed the Institute’s vision of science-themed events.  A great team effort and a pleasure to be involved in the kick-off of this dynamic medical facility.
