Panache Pops Up On Posh Las Olas Boulevard

Florida’s Most Fashionable Party Rental Supplier Showcases “Prêt-A-Party” Looks

December 21, 2009 – Fort Lauderdale, FL – On December 1, 2009, Panache: a Classic Party Rentals Company, opened the doors of Classic Gatherings by Panache to spread holiday cheer and affordable party tips to 30,000 attendees strolling the street at the annual ‘Christmas On Las Olas.’

“What a brilliant idea,” stated Jenn Thomas of Jenn Thomas SOLUTIONS, LLC. “If the client can’t come to you – come to the client.”

Boasting 5,400 sq. feet and a beautiful corner bay window, Panache president and general manager, Kelly Murphy and staff, transformed the former bridal shop at 721 E. Las Olas Boulevard into a welcoming winter wonderland.

“We approached our pop-up store like an event,” stated Murphy. “Once we pulled up the carpet, painted the floor and walls, we had this incredible raw space to work with.”

Featuring a dozen holiday themed vignettes, a wine bar, and two dozen Chameleon Chairs donning the latest collection, the temporary showcase afforded guests the opportunity to revel in a host of “prêt-a-party” looks and place their holiday event rental orders. Inspirational messages replete with the mantra, “Every day in life is a special occasion. Celebrate!” and the gentle reminder to go green this holiday season with the companies SAVE initiative, “Rent, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” graced the showcase windows.

Operating in partnership with the Las Olas Company, the Panache team incorporated a handful of the Las Olas merchants, including 918 Day Spa, Ann’s Florist, C’Orrico: a Lily Pulitzer store, Flora Ottimer Children’s Boutique, Flowers & Found Objects, Herringbone & Hound, Moda Mario, Needlepoint Originals, and Objects de Art to compliment the vignette themes. Sister company, Prime Event Group, created custom awnings, and SFL Productions assisted with lighting and fabric draped window, while The South Florida Wedding Network and Petals Panache outfitted the ‘Winter Wedding’ room.

“We’ve heard nothing but positive feedback,” stated Vann Padgett of the Las Olas Company. “What a beautiful addition to the boulevard. We only wish they could stay longer.”
