The bride, traveling from Atlanta, Georgia, to plan her summer wedding in the Hamptons, arrived carrying a long, lovingly cared for lace cloth from her grandmother’s collection. “I want this cloth to be in my wedding.” And, thus the major design element was set for this wedding in the Hamptons.
Jill Gordon, proprietor of the Jill Gordon Celebrate wedding planner service in the Hamptons, was the planner, and plan she did. No stone was left unturned in putting together the kind of Southern detail and Hamptons’ cachet to make this wedding one of the finest of the 2008 season.
The tent was set up in the backyard of one of the Hamptons’ lovely homes and the bride entered the tent after cocktails through an entrance surrounded by her chosen rose and hydrangea floral decor, arranged by Claire Bean, proprietor of Claire Bean Event and Floral Design.
