Classic Party Rentals custom stairway

The beautiful rolling hills of Hickory, NC provided the perfect backdrop for this sunset wedding ceremony. The landscape had its ‘ups and downs’ but our Classic team was up to the challenge, assembling a 7,000 sq. ft. structured floor providing a lift of 2’ to nearly 10’ off the ground in the front yard of this sprawling southern estate.

Working through five days of rain, the sun finally broke through and nearly 400 guests basked in the glow of the sunset ceremony from a sea of white padded resin chairs in the backyard of the bride’s family home.

The ceremony was followed by a light and elegant reception inside a combined structure that included a 40′x100′, 40′x60′ and 20′x20′ with a 10′x10′ entryway. The custom carpeted tents were surrounded by clear sidewall on three sides while the back wall was lined with drapery to create a cool and relaxed lounge area. Guests were seated on white Chiavari chairs around 5’ tables draped with luscious apple green Bengaline linens.

Custom-made stairways created a unique and charming entrance for guests to enter the reception at the highest point of elevation. In addition, a handicap accessible ramp was built off the lower side of the tent to accommodate all wedding guests.
