It was a wonderful wedding for Florence and Michael, sponsored by Wish Upon a Wedding, “the world’s first nonprofit wedding wish granting organization.”

Wish Upon a Wedding pulls together donations from businesses within the event industry and produces weddings and civil union ceremonies at destinations across the United States as an act of kindness for engaged couples facing life-threatening illness. 

“By celebrating the courage and spirit of these couples, it is our hope that others facing similar situations will find hope, strength, and the promise of eternal love.”

In the case of Florence and Michael’s wedding, Classic Sacramento donated the chargers, the hotel donated the use of its ballroom and tables/chairs, a local linen company donated the linen and napkins, a few caterers pitched in to feed the guests and a DJ provided services as well.
